As an alternative, Ryanair offer budget flights to Rome’s second airport, Rome Ciampino, which is situated approximately 12km from Rome’s city centre. Much smaller than Fiumicino, Ciampino has just one terminal, handling almost 6 million passengers in 2018. Ryanair flights depart daily to and from London Stansted.
