Flights from Chicago to Amsterdam: which airlines can you choose?

Almost every day there are one or more direct flights from O’Hare International Airport to Schiphol Amsterdam with different airlines. We discuss two of the best options available.

KLM: Dutch pride

KLM is not only the largest airline in the Netherlands, but also the oldest airline that still operates under its original name. The company provides direct flights from its home base in Amsterdam to destinations around the world. KLM flights depart from Chicago for Amsterdam five days a week. There may be more in the high season. KLM is part of SkyTeam and is known for its excellent service and professional services. Flying with KLM is therefore a good option for your visit to Amsterdam.

United Airlines

With just as many flights per week as KLM (around five), competitor United Airlines is a good alternative. The airline, often referred to simply as United, is part of the Star Alliance and is based at the airport of Houston, Texas: George Bush International. However, its headquarters is located in the Willis Tower, the tallest tower in Chicago and a popular tourist attraction.

Naturally, United also has a large presence at O’Hare airport and good worldwide connections to and from Chicago.
